NATIVE RACES:  
  Native Races:  
  There are nine different Native (neutral) Races to be found on Planets:  
  AMPHIBIAN:  
  If a Starbase is built over a Planet with Amphibian Natives, that Starbase will have level 10 Beam Weapon technology for free.
  GHIPSOIDAL:   
  If a Starbase is built over a Planet with Ghipsoidal Natives, that Starbase will have level 10 Engine technology for free.
  HUMANOID:   
  If a Starbase is built over a Planet with Humanoid Natives, that Starbase will have level 10 Hull technology for free.
  SILICONOID:  
  If a Starbase is built over a Planet with Siliconoid Natives, that Starbase will have level 10 Torpedo technology for free.
  AVIAN:  
  Avians can be taxed at a higher tax rate without lowering their happiness level, thereby producing more Megacredits.
  In the happiness info, add an extra 10 to the formula.  
  INSECTOID:  
  Insectoids cough up double the normal amount of Megacredits when taxed.  
  BOVINOID:  
  For every 10,000 Bovinoids on a Planet, 1 Supply unit is produced for free. There must be 100 Colonists (1 Clan) on the 
  Planet to collect each Supply unit.  
  REPTILIAN:  
  Reptilians like to mine. So they help your Colonists mine. Your Colonists mine at double the normal mining rate if more
  than 100 Reptilians are present.  
  AMORPHOUS:  
  Amorphous refuse to cough up any Megacredits when taxed. They cannot be assimilated by The Cyborg (Race 6). In 
  fact, the Amorphous eat Colonists. The number of Colonist Clans eaten is (95-Native happiness) with a minimum of 5 Clans.
  The number of  Colonists eaten by Amorphous = (91 - [Native happiness])*100 with a minimum of 5 Clans.
  NOTE: This formula is for Native happiness <= 86.  
  Native Race Governments:  
  There are ten different stages of Native Race Government:  
  NONE:  
  Natives produce Megacredits at 0% of the normal tax rate.  
  ANARCHY:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 20% of the normal tax rate.  
  PRE-TRIBAL:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 40% of the normal tax rate.  
  EARLY-TRIBAL:  
  Natives produce Megacredits at 60% of the normal tax rate.  
  TRIBAL:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 80% of the normal tax rate.  
  FEUDAL:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 100% of the normal tax rate. (Same as Colonists)  
  MONARCHY:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 120% of the normal tax rate.  
  REPRESENTATIVE:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 140% of the normal tax rate.  
  PARTICIPATORY:   
  Natives produce Megacredits at 160% of the normal tax rate.  
  UNITY:  
  Natives produce Megacredits at 180% of the normal tax rate.  
  Native Happiness:  
  On a scale of 0 – 100 (100 being the happiest)  
  Native happiness level indicators: Happy, Calm, Un-Happy, Angry, Rioting, and Civil War  
  Happy: (90 - 100)  
  Calm: (70 - 89)  
  Un-Happy: (50 - 69)  
  Very Angry: (40 - 49)  
  Rioting: (25 - 39)  
  Civil War: (-300 - 24)  
  Natives can be taxed as long as their happiness stays above a certain level (somewhere around 30)
  If Happiness falls below this level the Natives will become mad at you and stop paying taxes and in extreme cases, riot
  Natives riot when Happiness falls to 0 or below.  
  Rioting kills: 30% Clans, 30% Natives and an additional 100 Clans and 100 Natives after the percentages
  New Clans = (Old Clans * .7) - 100  
  The formula for Native happiness changes follows:  
  Native happiness change = TRUNC(5 + NativeGovt/2 - SQRT(#Natives/1,000,000) - (#Mines + #Factories)/200 - TaxRate*.85)
  NativeGovt levels range from 1 to 9, with Anarchy being a 1 and Unity being a 9.  
  Native Reproduction:  
  The formula for Native growth follows:  
  Native growth % = 4*SIN(Temp*PI/100)/(1 + TaxRate/5)  
  The growth rate = 0 if:  
  Native happiness < 70  
  Max population would be exceeded  
  This formula is good only for populations below 6.6 million. The reproduction rate above this level is one-half the regular rate.
